And what costume shall the poor girl wear To all tomorrow's parties A hand-me-down dress from who knows where To all tomorrow's parties And where will she go, and what shall she do When midnight comes around She'll turn once more to Sunday's clown and cry behind the door
A blackened shroud A hand-me-down gown Of rags and silks - a costume Fit for one who sits and cries For all tomorrow's parties
don't know from where, but the word 'ennui' just popped into my head in an attempt to define what it is about this that i like so much .. it's sense of ennui and elegant decadence ..

Lovely! Its so old school in style. The song you've added goes with it well. This is indeed two photos, is it not? If not, never mind me, but if so, they are spliced very well.
^_^
Hmm. Knowing you're a classic photographer, my gut reaction is that you used two models. But I have to ask. Did you use a double exposure? I ask because I don't really know anything about those in concerns to film, and I've been thinking about setting one up using a tripod and two different digital frames of the same scene, and a model in two different places in the scene, and then combining the frames in photoshop.
The composition is interesting. The position of the two bodies, the contrast on the dresses and the couch, and the way the light above it hits the wall is all perfect. I also love the colors a lot.
