Double Exposure. Full view [and squint] to see it better.
Shot at the walled city of Carcassonne in France - on the surface you see the Carousel at the entrance to the Castle Gates, and beneath is the statue of the Virgin Mary with candles burning inside the city's Cathedral.
Diana F + Fuji Provia 400F [exp. 2002] Shot & scanned as straight slide, light leaks and all. Unedited.
My apologies for the cropped scan. When I get a new scanner that scans 120 properly I'll repost it so you get the full shot.

In case you can't tell, I've decided to start posting some of the thousands of photos I took whilst overseas on the Big Trip last year, and this is the first of them. It's been just over 12 months since we got back, so I figured it was about time - besides, it's nice to have a little break now and then
Usually I get them scanned by a guy in the city but their scans are not brilliant - I can't afford drum so I got a scanner to do stuff from home. Sadly it's CRAP and refuses to do what it's soul purpose in life is TO do and thus I am hunting for a better one, something that will do 35 + 120 + 220 + slide.
Not brave enough to venture into large format again juuuust yet
The Epson flatbed scanners are somewhat decent for scanning those sizes (and large format), that's if you're wanting something on the "cheaper" side of things.
New deals posted everyday, starting Black Friday and running through the holiday season! No hassles, no lines - just awesome savings on art, deviantWEAR, Premium Memberships and more!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
