There are 4 in total but these 3 are the worst offenders.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE SHIRTS. They are not approved by myself, India or Sabina, and we do not get a single cent of any sales. I am not the only photographer who is being ripped off so if you see any images on tshirts floating around that you recognise, PLEASE tell the photographer! They may not know it's happening to their work.
To find them on the internet you can do a reverse image search on Google for the images you think are being used. I've found several of my designs being used in countries all over the world without my permission.
i was looking at this: [link] and while this supplier's website doesn't exist, under the "item specifics" it says that the brand is Araina. I couldn't find any information about the brand, but this [link] is a store that sells it (both the brand itself AND your copyrighted image shirt). you could try asking them where the factory is and how to contact? hopefully a retailer will know where the supplier is located and can give you a phone number/email address. also, this website [link] has lists of t-shirt suppliers in thailand. i didn't see the word "Araina" anywhere, but it's possible you could ask these suppliers for information. i don't know how much of this you already knew, but i hope some of it was helpful <3 good luck!
I posted on my Tumblr, I learned this from a friend's post of Facebook. So the word is spreading and the thieves who distributed this will get tracked down and end up losing tonnes of money for having printed so many shirts that potential customers will refuse to buy. They will lose their credibility and the stores who stock them might look for other brands or reevaluate every purchase from that manufacturer.
Make sure to report to each seller that the items were not printed with your consent or knowledge. Get a good lawyer.
I saw your lovely tattoo girl on a yellow T-shirt today :/. I immediately knew that it was yours (because I 'ed it a while ago ). It was produced by a store called Jay Jays here in South Africa, their FB page ----> [link] Jay Jays has stores in Australia too if I'm not mistaken. I was completely shocked and didn't think to take a photo on my phone, I really should have.
Have you had any luck in this battle? I'm spreading the word .
Same thing happening with A brand called David & Golliath, art thief extraordinaire!
Thanks for that. I can't find the shirt on their facebook page, and I couldn't find it on the australian website either, but I'll definitely keep an eye on them. I doubt they'd be producing them, just stocking them from the wholesaler in thailand, but if I find that they are indeed selling them I will make sure they stop
You're very welcome. I might go back to the store and take a photo for you (if that would help). My heart stopped when I saw your photograph on a yellow shirt . I really hope that you get this situation sorted.
