I looked back at my recent submissions and I realised that I haven't had any shots of WP for ages, so thought it was high time for a new one, and I always liked this image.
The framing was a bit of a mistake - you weren't meant to see the red cardigan, but the P6 had other ideas.
I like mistakes.

I've been missing film so much lately, being so seduced to the Dark Side as I have been with the new 40D, and because film always thrills me and since almost all of my images have had some degree of photoshop work I've been thinking I should occassionally submit a straight film shot with no editing whatsoever just to remind myself - and hopefully you guys - just how awesome film is. I've already started the ball-rolling here: [link]
So expect more to come in the future.

This particular shot is practically as is, just tweaked the levels slightly. And just as a side note, this inspired me to post this today: [link]
I wonder how many of you can say that ;)

I think it's just as well you included the red top as it really gives this shot a lot of pop.
After 20 years of shooting film, I'm quite happy to see the back of it.

Haha I have definately had my fair share of trouble with it, but I still get more of a sense of achievement and satisfaction getting a great film shot than getting a great digital shot. I still feel like I'm cheating every time I pick up a digital camera :giggle:
