It changes the original Grimm story slightly where, in the first attempt on her life, instead of being laced up too tight Snow White is strangled by Ribbons. If you don't know it, find it and watch it. Vanessa Redgrave is brilliant as the Evil Queen and Vincent Price is the Magic Mirror - how do you beat that? Certainly made an impression on me as a kid.
