I really really love this photo! especially with the shadows on the wall from, I'm assuming, the outside window? The fact that the words service and wash show up on the wall... amazing!
:iconjennipenny:
This is bloody awesome! I love the concept and those shoes are to die for  Well done!
:iconboobook:
Fantastic! Love the humour in the shot. Would love to know how it was lit to get the shadows on the back wall and reflection in the door of the dryer!
:icondalaiharma:
It's a bit of a long explanation... *deeeeep breath*
The laundry was completely dark inside, and even though there were a dozen fluro lights overhead none of them would turn on because they're on a timer, so no switch.
I figured I'd have to rely on flash... which I hate because I know sweet FA about it. It was about 3pm and the laundromat is under a veranda, so no light from outside per se coming in.
However!! I had miraculously managed to park my car in a space outside that in its position, coupled with the slanted angle of the windscreen, actually acted as a reflector and bounced the blazing sunlight directly inside and on to Donna!!
Then, with the addition of a silver reflector - and my charming assistant Mr Prebble angling it correctly - we ended up having ample light and even more fitting, it reflected the lino advertising on the window inside onto the wall and the dryer door :D

The only manipulation in the whole shot was changing the colour of her knickers from pink to tan. The rest was all pure luck ;)

:phew:

I dunno about you but I need a drink now! :lmao:
