wow, I thought they looked extremely real...may I ask how you kept them for 5 years? I know it's not like keeping an entire bird...but it didn't stink, or anything? lol, don't know if that sounded dumb, but I'm just kind of curious.

They were wrapped in aluminium foil and then in a ziplock bag and stored in the back of our freezer. They did INDEED smell though! But only after they started to thaw out ;)
Plus latex disposable gloves were used everytime they were handled.

I wish!! I had blue hair in Yr12, but I was blonde back then, I'm still trying to wash the damn ''semi-permanent'' red the hairdressers put in 8months ago!!!!!

Gorgeousness, this one is one of the more emotive pretties. I have a thing with wings so I'm quite drawn to it.

I had a rainbow lorikeet that we rescued a few years ago, she recently died. They're such pretty birds, the colours are amazing! I like that after all that time, the wings in this photo are still beautiful.

Ah I was going to ask what bird they were from; they look just like Conure wings.

Nah, we don't get Conure's around here. Closest we get are Rosellas, and they're getting rarer.

Thanks love! :D
I'd like to hope it has a few stories woven into it, largely based on personal interpretation, but I think you definitely get it ;)
We were in discussion over how I should edit it, and I'd tried before but I'd gone back to basics and decided to hell with it, I shot it raw so I'm going to edit it raw. Very little retouching as a result, and I like it! :D
I might try seeing how it looks in b&w too...
